I have been slighty addicted to this recipe I got from the 21Day Sugar Detox by Diane Sanfillipo over at Balanced Bites. She has loads of great recipes in the detox guide, but the chocolate mousse has been a favorite of mine. I decided to try something slightly different to make it more of a smooth pudding consistency and not as thick. I have used her recipe as a paleo pie filling for a party in December..it turned out so good!! If you want this delicious recipe I highly suggest checking out & purchasing her 21 Day Sugar Detox. Ingredients:
3T Organic Fair Trade Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1T Cacao Powder
1 Large Avocado
2 Small-Medium Organic Bananas
1/2c Full Fat Coconut Milk
1/2t real Vanilla Extract
1/4t Ground Sea Salt(optional)
Cacao Nibs (Used as a Topping)
Directions:
- In vitamix or high speed blender put - Cocoa & Cacao Powder, Avocado, Bananas, Coconut Milk, Vanilla Extract, Sea Salt - Blend until Smooth
- Put into storage container covered in fridge for 1hr
- Once you are ready to serve - put into 4-5 ramekins and top with a little cacao nibs.
Serves 3-5
